The campaign is getting louder. The money isn't.

September was light on money and the election is heavy on work. If more of you don't start paying, I will cut content and services.

The Good Oil membership series plate: navy oil-droplet mark, gold rule, and MEMBERSHIP on a cream field

Hi,

September was light on money. The election isn't light on work. Every day of this campaign there's more to read, check and explain, and it's only getting louder from here.

Take Tuesday. Before lunch there was a Quick Hit on Hipkins' first week, a full analysis piece on "The State Broadcasters' Favourite Kingmaker", and a cartoon, "The Maze". All of that takes hours, and all of it is paid for by the readers who chip in. Plenty more of you read every day and pay nothing.

If more of you don't start paying, I will cut content and services. I don't want that. You don't either.

VIP is twenty-five dollars a month, GST included. You get all of Ten@10, the full Real Good Oil columns, the analysis, Quick Hits, the cartoons and Cam's Corner. More than that, you keep this place covering the campaign properly right through to election night.

Hundreds of free accounts aren't a business. This is one ask, not a drip. If you've been meaning to get on board, today's the day.
