The Government’s BIG Backdown & NUDE Gardening!

MONIQUE FORD/STUFF Wellington gardener June Campbell-Tong is ready to participate in World Naked Gardener Day.

In the below radio interview, Willie Jackson said that this is a “pragmatic” back down on the Emissions Trading Scheme by the government and has nothing to do with Winston Peters and it is not Winston’s fault. He also said that it is a “brave and pragmatic” decision by PM Jacinda Ardern to take farmers “off the hook” for at least the next five years. Hilariously Jackson says you “can’t just force things on people.” (Gun ban anyone?)

Jackson said that he voted against having referendums because he doesn’t trust the public to make the important decisions and that Winston is “politically brilliant.” At the end of the interview we learn that Willie Jackson is “Willie by name and Willie by nature” as he is fine with nudity at the Rotorua pools.

Judith Collins said that the backdown means that farmers have stood up for themselves and she emphasises that they are supported by the National Party. She said that the mess is actually Winston’s fault since he is the reason why the Greens are part of the coalition government. Judith said that it is not for her to make the call as to whether or not to rule NZ First out of a coalition with the National Party. She also confirmed that she will not garden nude.
