Is there no low too deplorable for the Greens? As if cramming their candidate roster with (alleged) rapists, (self-confessed) drug users and thieves and open advocates for necrophilia and bestiality isn’t enough, there’s the grotesque hypocrisy of an ‘environmental’ party campaigning on housing availability, whose senior MPs clear koala habitat to make a fast buck from one of their many investment properties.
Now this.
As most politicians and candidates pause official campaigning to commemorate Anzac Day, the Greens will stage a rave dance party fundraiser.
In a bid to oust Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister and federal member for Perth Patrick Gorman, the minor party are selling tickets to the “Greens Party Party” for $30 and asking for donations of up to $1000 […]
The event will commence at 6pm and will run for more than five hours on April 25 at an inner-city bar and tattoo parlour called Old Habits.
The Greens are really outdoing themselves.
Mr Gorman said the event was one of “the worst judgments” he has ever seen in politics as both Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton are expected to mark the day paying their respects at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
The same war memorial, remember, that the Greens’ hateful Mehreen Faruqi sneered at, when anti-Semitic vandals defaced it. ‘Just a bit of paint,’ she taunted.
The government is calling for the Greens to cancel a planned rave party fundraiser to be held in Perth on Anzac Day.
“It’s outrageous,” Perth MP Patrick Gorman told The Australian. “The Greens party should cancel this even and front the media to apologise immediately.”
Mr Gorman, who is the Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister and facing a challenge from one of the beneficiaries of the event, said the Greens should also reject any money raised.
Tell ’im ’e’s dreamin’. As if the Greens would ever take their grubby paws off a pile of money. The Marxist far-left party stuffed with multimillionaire landlord parasites (to use their own rhetoric), which was the recipient of the largest single donation in Australian political history.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Green.
The fundraiser will also feature the Greens’ Jordon Steele-John, who, like Faruqi, supported the anti-Semitic vandalism at the War Memorial.
The senator last year refused to support a motion in the upper house moved by Tasmanian Senator (and army veteran) Jacqui Lambie to condemn the vandals who desecrated a number of shrines at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
The Australian National Korean War Memorial, Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial and the Australian Army National Memorial were graffitied with pro-Palestine messages. It was the second time in as many months the Vietnam War memorial was defaced.
At the time, Senator Steele-John would not support Senator Lambie’s motion as war memorials, he said, were “not politically neutral spaces”, adding that “painting is a form of free speech”.
Mr Bandt refused to condemn Senator Steele-John, instead attacked the government and coalition.
They really are the most disgusting rabble in Australian politics – but even they’ve belatedly realised just how appalling this stunt was.
The Greens have cancelled a planned fundraising dance party slated to take place in Perth on Anzac Day.
“The event originally scheduled for April 25 has been rescheduled. Sophie Greer (the Perth candidate) will attend an Anzac Day service on that day, and she was always intending to,” Greens WA co-convenor Chilla Bulbeck told The Australian.
Bollocks, she was. Not until she was caught.
Now, will Albanese finally come clean on whether Labor will preference the Greens?
