The term ‘top two inches’, in a gardening context, describes the top two inches of soil. It can also be used metaphorically and I am specifically referring to human characteristics; in this case, those on the left of the political spectrum. If you dig into the characteristics of left’s politicians and those who support them, there stems a type of vitriol that appears to be, at least in part, one of the root causes of their problems.
To be fair, politicians of all shades stand accused of mouthing off against their opponents. Donald Trump being an example, but his vitriol is aimed at the Democrats as a whole, the RINOS of his party or the regime in Iran. Recently he has taken to using the term Dumocrats when talking about the Democratic Party. He might describe a Democrat politician as not very bright or use strong rhetoric to bring a person around to his point of view. To Zelensky: “You don’t hold any of the cards.” He described the pope as “weak on crime”, “terrible for foreign policy” and “very liberal”. The words are usually used for effect and not intended to cause harm.
The left operate differently; they seem to revel in personal attacks, often when someone they don’t like has been murdered or assassinated. We saw it with Charlie Kirk and we are seeing it now with news of the alleged murder of the British conservative politician Ann Widdecombe, a 78 year old, who was unmarried, so a former Sky News journalist, Adam Boulton (in England Sky News is left-leaning whereas Sky News in Australia is right leaning), decided he would highlight that in talking about her death. He described her as a “spinster”, an “old maid”, a “battle axe” and a “bruiser”.
Those might be appropriate descriptions had she been alive and able to answer to them, but hardly suitable when talking about her death. He then was forced to make a grovelling apology. The Scottish Workers’ Party in Scotland have been widely condemned for posting “Hurrah, she’s dead”. Not unsurprisingly the post has been deleted. In the days after Charlie Kirk’s death various people, including teachers, firefighters and members of the military and the US Secret Service, were fired from their jobs for social media posts that celebrated his death.
What is it with those on the left that causes them to act in such a vile way? Are they so vile within themselves that their immediate reaction to such events causes them to behave in such a manner? They are only too happy to exhibit the fact that their cup is overrunning with joy. What is it in their top two inches that brings about such despicable behaviour? Their actions belie the pictures they paint of themselves. The party of the workers and looking after the downtrodden and oppressed; the reality is they are none of that. They are angry, unpatriotic, continually play the man and not the ball and support most things that contribute to the breakdown of society.
Just this morning I received an email concerning Democrat John Fetterman (he could be a Republican) who has just called out his own party for calling anyone who voted for Trump a fascist. He says he has friends who voted for Trump and they are not fascist. Fetterman says if you put a MAGA sign on your property it doesn’t mean you hate America: it just means you hold different views. Trump invited him to dinner and he accepted because a) he doesn’t dislike Trump and b) he believes in dialogue. Needless to say, his own party would now prefer to be rid of him.
Fetterman also that the Democrats are actually using the F word in their campaign advertisements: F*** Trump. These people are deranged. They exist on a diet of hate, envy, weirdness and lies. Anyone who supports or votes for them needs their top two inches investigated. They have lost any sense of normalcy.
They are relegating their chances of winning anything in the mid-term elections to virtually zero. What is it in their top two inches that tells them this is how to beat Trump and the Republicans? It will have the opposite effect.
They tried to put Trump in jail prior to his election using fake charges and biased judges but the people didn’t buy it. Neither will they buy into the current nonsense. The left have little hope anywhere until they understand economics and give up their anger at anyone who disagrees with them. They have gone down a rabbit hole from which they’ll find it hard to extract themselves. It’s time they re-evaluated their strategies, their behaviour and their policies. Otherwise their chances of ever winning an election again are slim.
