The Man Who Invented ‘Gender’

The origins of transgender ideology are steeped in academically-justified paedophilia.

The Revolution will be complete when the language is perfect, states a character in 1984. This is the fundamental principle of the fictional language of “Ingsoc” (“Socialist England”), Newspeak: not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of Ingsoc,. but to make all other modes of thought impossible.

We see these principles of Newspeak in operation around us, every day. Most often (but not exclusively) in the writings and utterances of the media-political left. Consider, for instance, how often you see or hear politically-loaded phrases like “far-right”, “First Nations”, or “harmful misinformation”. More pertinently, consider how often you or other people like you use them without thinking.

But one of the most astonishing feats of linguistic perversion in recent years has been how effortlessly the left have systematically and deceitfully altered the meanings of “gender” and “sex”. These words are synonyms. They have been since both entered the English language in the 14th century. Yet, in just a few years, nearly a millennium of usage has been overturned, to the point that even people who are hostile to transgenderism unthinkingly repeat the claim that “sex and gender are different”.

The origin of this mendacious claim lies in 1980s academia, although its proximate origin lies a few decades earlier. Where it originated should make anyone’s skin crawl.

While many attribute it to feminists, the first person to use “gender” in such a way was John Money in 1955. He is often referred to as “the father of gender identity,” since he is the one who invented the term. While John Money is mostly famous for his work on transgenderism and the infamous David Reimer case, he actually has an extensive history of sexological research that is controversial, to say the least. Scarily enough, his ideas are currently being replicated in the current conversation about sex and gender.

Alarmingly, John Money is something of a hero to the modern gender movement. In 2003, no less than New Zealand PM Helen Clark proudly opened the John Money wing at the Eastern Southland Gallery in Gore (Money was born in Morrinsville and began his academic career at the University of Otago).

A great man, though, John Money was not.

John Money’s work on the sexual citizenship of children has earned him the title of “Pedophile Advocate” – rightfully so […] In 1994, he opposed the classification of pedophilia as an abnormal fetish.

In this, Money was merely in step with many other left-wing academics, especially the proponents of Queer Theory, who argued that sexual liberation must include the normalisation of “those whose eroticism transgresses generational boundaries” (Gayle Rubin) and liberate “pedophilia, necrophilia, erotic object fetishism, and human–animal sex” (Sarah Hankins).

Money was a walking, practising poster-boy for “those whose eroticism transgresses generational boundaries”.

In his most notorious case, he not only performed transgender surgery on a very young boy, David Reimer, but encouraged the now “girl” to participate in simulated sex acts with his twin brother. Acts which Money carefully recorded — and forbade the children from telling their parents about.

Clearly he had an ulterior motive and thought that it was appropriate to include his personal goals of “sexual liberation for children” in his work […] Not only did he seek the normalization of child abuse – he glorified it. In 1983, he claimed that these relationships should be considered a blend of “devotion, affection and limerence…a comradeship with a touch of hero-worship” and that society’s”rule of age-avoidancy” is negotiable.

The 70s and 80s were a kind of putrescent “golden age” of paedophilia advocacy, as I’ve written elsewhere, although from the mid-80s on, there was a heavy backlash (which, unfortunately, included the ludicrous modern-day Witch Trials of the “Satanic Panic”). But the pro-paedos are back out in force, these days. As journalist Roisin Michaux writes, they “are rallying, and they have a strategy”.

And, in John Money, they had an academic apologist.

The vocabulary that these groomers use is strikingly similar to Money’s ideas about chronophilia and “Lovemap Age” […]

John Money advocated for the sexual liberation of children, using pornography and kink.

And today, we have activists and mainstream media promoting drag queens in public schools and libraries, and “kink for kids”.

John Money thought that the desexualization of gender was in accord with the Zeitgeist of contemporary sexual politics together with victimology and an expanding criminalization of sex. This is eerily similar to current-day trans activists who claim that pornographic content in schools is a good thing, and those who disagree are just overreacting and trying to harm the psychological development of “transgender children […]

Upon learning about the work of John Money, anyone with common sense can see that his ideas are being replicated in schools and child transgenderism.

Gays Against Groomers

And yet, the mainstream left resolutely refuse to believe that groomers are a thing. Even as they slavishly subscribe to their perverted ideas — and furiously attack anyone who draws attention to it.

The paedophile revolution is near-complete.
