The Mayor of Whanganui Lives up to His Name

Best of MountainsideFM.

Rather than acknowledging this tragic truth, Mayor Tripe trivialised the occasion.

He revealed himself as a partisan ideologue who cannot rise above petty politics, even in the face of a family’s grief. A mayor is meant to unite, not divide. A mayor is meant to lead with respect, not contempt.

Charlie Kirk stood for something. He stood for values that many in New Zealand still hold dear. His life was worth more than the cheap political sneers of an uninformed, self-indulgent local politician. The people of Whanganui deserve better.

My last remark, directed at Mayor of Whanganui Andrew Tripe, is that you, sir, are a load of tripe.
