The tipline has been running hot again after a quiet period. This time it is all about Ayesha Verrall. My Labour sources are also whispering about Ayesha Verrall.

One caucus colleague, whom TGO has decided not to name, described Ayesha Verrall as having “the charm of David Cunliffe and the competence of Phil Twyford”.

They are also saying that Chris Hipkins is off overseas next year to become a fully paid-up member of the global elite with some help from Jacinda Ardern. She’s sitting on $20 million and has made an approach to Hipkins. Arrangements have been made to farm the kids out and plans are well advanced for his departure.
