If you want a compilation of what the human race has had to contend with in the past two to three years of the Covid-19 pandemic the book The Rise of The New Normal Reich summarises it vividly. C J Hopkins, an accomplished author, sees this period as insanity. The 32 well-researched essays are penned with his usual blistering usage of words, skepticism, wit, crankiness and brilliant writing style. The author lets a reader know he is a sharp critic of this madness that has ensnared people all over the world.
The message was, our lives, as we knew them, were over. Society was being radically restructured. […] We were entering a brave new world … a world the authorities called the “New Normal”. We were undertaking this historic transition, this radical restructuring of human civilisation, not in the wake of thermonuclear war, or a devastating meteor strike, or cataclysmic environmental collapse, but because of a respiratory virus.

Hopkins has moved from hoping things will soon go back to normal to a belief that humanity is in for a new and disturbing social construct. These thoughts are reflected in the unnerving title of his new work.
So, it looks like GloboCap [the global-capitalist’s power network] isn’t going to be happy until they have fomented the widespread social unrest, or a de facto global civil war […]
(p181)
Throughout the essays, Hopkins makes no valid comparisons between Nazi Germany and this “New Normal” but much to his own annoyance he sees parallels all the time.
One was a fanatical totalitarian ideology based on imaginary racial superiority and the other is a fanatical totalitarian ideology based on an imaginary “apocalyptic plague”… so what the hell am I even talking about?
{p176}
He launches into his book explaining the Milgram Experiment. People are willing to go to great lengths and suffer greatly when it is disguised and pumped up as doing good. Two thirds of any society can be easily convinced as a mass to perform irrational, unethical and even cruel behaviours. Hitler was amazed at how quickly he was able to establish ‘national unity’. (Fritzsche, P. 2008. Life and Death in the Third Reich. p15.)
Hopkins explains the fanatical eagerness of people around the world to accept harsh lockdowns, social distancing, mandated masks, untested gene-therapy injections, quarantine camps, QR codes, persecution of the unvaccinated, hysteria and fear. This almost universal unquestioning compliance has been described as different psychological theories: the most recent, a mass formation psychosis. (corbettreport.com/desmet-massformation/)
Hopkins doesn’t believe it is foremost a mass formation, rather structural, political and simple. Government propaganda led to the gaining of control of the people worldwide. Even intelligent people can fall for cult-like totalitarianism coming from politicians and health professionals, and will obey their orders when a doomsday level of fear is amplified.
Totalitarianism is the horse … mass psychosis is the cart.

Klaus Schwab, whose influence on current political leaders is recognised, stated his global intent for the world.
The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine and reset our world.

Hopkins, the award-winning author, playwright and political satirist, opens eyes to what is ahead globally and how to resist.
C J Hopkins is our modern Jeremiah. No other prophet has described the strategies or predicted the perils of the emerging totalitarianism with such persistence and eloquence.
