The Wall Crumbles Down

Unleashing DOGE may be President Trump’s masterstroke.

It has been said that the best executives know how to spot good people to work for them. In bringing Elon Musk, the richest and arguably the most efficient man in the world, into his administration, President Donald Trump is opening the once camouflaged corridors of power within the US government. Those who wielded authority in Washington for the last four years – and perhaps for decades – are quaking at the discoveries made by the people Musk has manning the keyboards. What has so upset the status quo that people feel the need to post such things as DOGE employees wanted “dead or alive”?

Biden’s Bermuda Triangle

Three key elements make up the Biden Bermuda Triangle: money, media, and bureaucracy. As Musk’s cavalry of computer geniuses have logged in and sat down in front of their desktops, startling revelations about censorship and the misuse of taxpayer funds are being unearthed.

Mike Benz over at the Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO) has connected some crucial dots in sifting through USAID internal documents, which illustrate a concerted effort to censor the right and shell out cash for the left. FFO reveals the document “proposes censorship action items for virtually every governmental, non-governmental and private sector commercial actor across society to both individually and collectively take action against disfavored speech online.” This included the methodology of strategic silence, debunking sources, interrupting what they considered “fabricated content” and more. In other words, it strangles and throttles back anything and everything with which the power brokers disagree.

How does this happen? This is where shelling out cash comes into the picture. In a Feb 5 article, Robert McGreevy of the Daily Caller exposed the second part of the triangle – money. By going to the USASpending.gov website and doing the dirty work, he found that media favorites on the left were recipients of millions of federal dollars. The Caller put an investigative ladle into the bureaucratic soup and found “US government agencies have dropped a staggering $34 million in contracts with Virginia-based news outlet Politico, mostly on subscriptions, according to data from USASpending.gov.”

This opened the floodgates, and inquiring minds began to dig deeper. Lo and behold, the New York Times and the Associated Press came up as those who feasted on a mountain of federal dollars. The government website illustrated that this was not a new idea by the Biden Administration. Still, the graph below shows it was the one who took handing out piles of tax dollars to favored media outlets to a new level. The yellow line represents new funding from a variety of federal agencies for Politico, LLC:

The spike in funding occurred between 2020 and 2024. These “subscription services” that the bureaucrats inside the government seemingly had to have, reportedly cost 10K a pop. Is it any wonder Politico, the NYT, and the Associated Press skew left? At the very least, they understand not to bite the hand that feeds them.

This is part two of the deception that makes up the fabric of the Biden Administration’s Bermuda Triangle of money, media, and bureaucracy. So, where does the bureaucracy fit into all of this?

In a remarkable Substack article written by EKO, the author quotes a senior advisor, presumably from DOGE, who explained, “The administrative state was built over decades. … Built to resist change. Built to outlast presidents. Built to preserve power.” EKO continued, further quoting his source:

“But they never imagined this. They built walls against political attacks. Defenses against media exposure. Shields against congressional oversight.

“They never prepared for algorithms that could map everything. For personnel pre-positioned everywhere. For a president who counts every week like it’s his last.”

While DOGE and the Trump Administration continue to shine a light on the bureaucracy that has worked long and hard to use its financial power to control the flow of information, the so-called Deep State crumbles because the real power that exists in a Bermuda Triangle is the ability to make things disappear. Now that they have been exposed, the jig is up.
