It was reported by Newshub that there was “a surge” from protesters so the police had to use force to arrest them. The evidence suggests otherwise.
These protesters were PEACEFUL. In other footage, it clearly shows the police strategy of reaching in through their line and PULLING PEACEFUL PEOPLE OUT. Some were even sitting down. No surging AT ALL.
It astounds me that NZ media are allowed to get away with such blatant misinformation. Most people will never see or hear what is actually going on. If you care enough go follow Chantelle Baker, she does Lives of everything and reports the truth.
