As I wrote recently, it has to make you sick to the stomach to see snipers on the roof of the Sydney Opera House. But that’s what the unholy, anti-Semitic alliance between the feral left and the even-more feral Muslim extremists has brought us to.
Could there be a more telling sign of Australia’s descent into the darkness of anti-Semitic hate? It’s a shocking sight for those of us who remember an Australia that was less ‘diverse’… but infinitely safer.
It’s likely about to get worse.
Police have identified major security challenges surrounding next week’s visit to Australia by Israel’s President Isaac Herzog, warning Jewish leaders they have concerns over their ability to keep community members safe at events linked to the trip.
Let that sink in: Australian police are openly admitting that they can’t keep Jewish Australians safe from the left-Islamic hate mob.
Risk assessments have considered the prospect that violent extremists could take advantage of anti-Israel protests during Mr Herzog’s visit, and that Jewish community members could be caught up in dangerous clashes entering or exiting event venues.
They talk about ‘anti-Israel protests’ and ‘violent extremists’ as if they’re separate things.
Remember, too, that this is a state visit to mourn the murder of dozens of Jewish Australians by Muslims in December. Not shamed in the least by what two years of their unhinged anti-Jewish hate has wrought, the Pallywankers are doubling down on their violent intolerance.
[NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon] said that in the past fortnight police had been made aware of 10 antisemitic incidents in NSW, saying they included a “number of phone calls with threats made to Jewish community members and Jewish authorities”.
Making it worse is that not a few of the extremists are in government.
Mr Herzog will fly into Sydney on Sunday for an official state visit amid a backlash by pro-Palestine activists and sections of the Labor Party over Anthony Albanese’s invitation to the Israeli head of state following the Bondi massacre in December.
He will attend community events in Sydney on Monday and Tuesday before flying to Canberra on Wednesday for talks with the prime minister, and travelling to Melbourne for a function the following day.
Police are determined to keep Jewish community members physically separated from protesters and ensure evacuation plans are in place for all events attended by Mr Herzog.
Mr Lanyon revealed 3000 NSW police would be on duty during the visit.
Think about that: 3000 police are necessary to even try and protect Jewish Australians from violent leftists and Muslims.
What has happened to Australia?
