HASTINGS TOWN CLOCK RALLY IN SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL & THE HOSTAGES FOUR MONTHS ON
A Rally will be held today in the centre of Hastings City on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the Hastings Town Clock.
It is a rally of solidarity with Israel as it marks the completion of four months since the Hamas-led invasion of southern Israel on October 7. The rally is supported by several local churches and will concentrate on a call for the release of the remaining 136 detainees still in Hamas-held territory. We will gather and pray:
- We will pray for the release of the hostages still in captivity – some 136.
- We will pray for Israel’s victory in this War. The only other alternative is a Hamas victory which means a jihadist regime in Gaza threatening the same pogrom-like attack on Israel again and again.
- We will pray for a genuine peace between Israel and the Palestinians – not one imposed on Israel by bullying nations who have not had to endure what the Israelis have constantly endured from the terrorist regime in Gaza since 2007.
- We will pray for the innocents affected by this war, both Israeli and Palestinian, that relief from their suffering will come and that an enduring resolution to the conflict will be agreed upon.
Media are welcome to attend/report.
