Trump 2026 Is Already on Show

America has shown it can operate quickly, decisively and effectively when it comes to conducting military operations. We should all be thankful.

There is no doubting Donald Trump’s intentions in 2026. With the New Year only four days old, he showed the world where his priorities lie – primarily focused on those who cause mayhem and destruction in their own countries and export that evil to America and elsewhere. This is fundamental to his overarching agenda ‘America First’, which covers many areas: economic, social, foreign policy, education, health, criminality and justice.

Trump is a leader who should be taken at his word. If he says he coming after you, as in the case with Venezuela’s Maduro, he means it. In contrast to the United Nations, Trump is not an ‘over the teacups’ individual. He knows the only way to solve problems is by taking the necessary steps to that end. If that is militarily, then so be it – and he has the means and the ability.

This is the second military operation carried out by Trump with no loss of American life. Like the bombing in Iran, the goal was achieved quickly and cleanly. Perhaps the starkest contrast is comparing the Venezuelan operation to Putin’s efforts to take Ukraine. Putin, if you recall, was going to conquer Ukraine in three days. Trump managed the same feat within three hours in a country 50 per cent larger than Ukraine.

Putin should be taking notice, along with other world leaders including those of China, Iran, Mexico and Cuba.

It should not go unnoticed that Russia, China and Iran (the cowardly Ayatollah from the protection of his bunker) are the ones protesting the loudest. The reason is that these leaders run regimes similar to Maduro – regimes designed to benefit them and their elites and to hell with their downtrodden, oppressed and impoverished people. There is no democracy in these countries, far from it.

Does anyone care about the plight of these peoples? Helen Clark has made it clear she doesn’t. She and the experts on One and Three News are more concerned about international law being broken. No doubt the useless United Nations will bleat on the same topic. We should get the hell out of these ‘wastes of space’ and instead spend the money on things like health, education and housing.

The world is in one heck of a mess and weak leadership around the Western world is the cause. The left of politics is largely to blame and that is the subject of my next article: their incompetence is mind boggling. The sole leader trying to save the world and its peoples from further mayhem is Trump.

Domestically, Trump is determined to oust anti-democratic behaviour and DEI nonsense, and to protect religious freedom, institute a basic education system, protect the right to life and close borders, alongside deporting illegal immigrants and stamping out fraud and other criminal activity. He has installed a team and many of his aims are being met. Compare this to the hapless Starmer and Reeves in the United Kingdom. The difference is one of will and determination.

Internationally, Trump has shown America is, and has, a force to be reckoned with. The Ayatollah might be hiding in his bunker but Trump knows exactly where that is. Trump has said if the regime resorts to killing innocent civilians then America will not sit idly by. In Trump’s own words “We are locked and loaded and ready to go.” The Ayatollah had better believe it.

The same goes for Xi Jinping and China. Xi can fly over and float around Taiwan, but it would be in his own interests not to try anything more. Again, Trump will not sit idly by. This commentary makes Trump sound like a warmonger, but he is the exact opposite. His priority is to protect the democratic rights of people. And so, if peace is not secured in the Middle East, he will give Israel the green light to go back into the Gaza Strip and elsewhere to finish the job.

Trump’s actions will largely define 2026, domestically and internationally, particularly economically and in the area of foreign policy. Other major world leaders don’t stand up to scrutiny – they either support terrorism and criminal behaviour or are too weak to do anything about it. ‘Political correctness’ has no place in today’s unstable world. Leaders of strength who project a no-nonsense attitude are the ones who are needed, but they appear to be in short supply.

The world is in crisis and the only person taking action is Trump. The United Nations talk, NATO talks, the EU talks, while Putin carries on his merry way, Hamas are re-establishing themselves in Gaza, China is threatening Taiwan and the little tyrant in North Korea is testing his long-range missiles. Talking doesn’t solve any of this. The longer the talking continues, the greater the chance of World War III.

There is ample evidence already that the people of Venezuela are very thankful for Trump’s intervention and hopefully will now get the freedom they deserve. Many have lost everything: the country is wrecked and, unbelievably, all the world seems worried about is whether Trump has broken international law. Since when did the likes of Maduro ever obey international law or uphold laws pertaining to democracy.

We rely on America as they have the military might – and that advantage must be used responsibly, as Trump has done both in Iran and Venezuela. America has shown it can operate quickly, decisively and effectively when it comes to conducting military operations.

We should all be thankful.
