Two More Years of Biden Just Might Be Needed

It’s nothing to feel good about, but the unfortunate truth for America First adherents who desperately desire to transform this nation’s political system is that hard times swell the demand for substantial change.

It’s tough to imagine, given what Americans have experienced over the past two years, but things are about to get much worse in this nation. There is a certain positive aspect to this, if that is the correct way to put it. Nothing quite opens the eyes like a stiff punch to the face.

No Check On a Swinging Wrecking Ball

The baffling non-rebuke of an immensely unpopular President Joe Biden in the Nov 8 midterm elections has given his administration a green light to continue pushing a monolithic program that seems designed to inflict misery on the American people.

“I’m not gonna change,” a gleeful Biden crowed on Nov 9. He means it.

This is an administration that aggressively pursued punitive coronavirus social curbs and attempted to brand parents who questioned local school boards about their children’s education as potential domestic terrorists. It has presided over the intentional non-defense of a southern US border besieged by migrants, and even ships these interlopers into the nation’s interior. Under its watch, inflation has risen to catastrophic levels not seen since the bleakest days of the Jimmy Carter 1970s.

The sour cherry atop the poisoned sundae is the administration’s labeling of anyone who dares question any of this as “enemies of democracy” who malevolently traffic in “disinformation”. This dystopia has now been granted another two years to spread. The consequences will be ugly. But for a reformist movement, perhaps it has to be this way.

Citizens Pushed Against the Wall

Spiraling crime in Democrat-led cities was widely seen as a major issue Republicans could capitalize on in the midterms. Radical district attorneys squeezed into office via lavish funding from globalist progressive billionaire George Soros appear to be orchestrating mayhem on the streets of their cities in the name of “criminal justice reform”. With the anticipated ballot-box reaction failing to materialize, what reason is there for Democrats to change course?

Illegal aliens continue to flourish in Joe Biden’s America. In Massachusetts, the state legislature in May approved a bill to allow illegals to obtain driver’s licenses. This is part of a coordinated effort by radical activist groups working throughout the country.

But a funny thing happened. There was surprising pushback from citizens in the notoriously leftist state. A petition to put the issue to a November referendum was successful. It is well worth noting that more than one million Bay Staters voted no, yet the measure still passed in the Democrat-dominated commonwealth.

It’s a boon to illegal aliens in need of documentation as they live in the shadows, thus furthering the corrosion of community life that comes with deliberate balkanization on the local level. But there also lies an alarming danger to drivers on Massachusetts roads, and Pilgrim State citizens must constantly have their heads on a swivel while behind the wheel. On the other hand, one million-plus New Englanders may have just learned a vital lesson on how little their government cares for their very lives.

And then there is the Biden economy.

An America First Window to Open?

“Batten down the hatches” is Amazon multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos’s advice to the plebs. In a sit-down interview with CNN on Nov 13, Bezos informed citizens that a recession is on the horizon, if not already here, and now is not the time to purchase things.

“If you’re an individual and you’re thinking about buying a large-screen TV, maybe slow that down, keep that cash, see what happens. Same thing with a refrigerator or new car, whatever,” Bezos advised. What exactly are the moneyed elites preparing the public for?

More Americans are going to experience the pain that comes with all this on a personal level. While the working and middle classes have been hurting for some time now, another level of citizens, not rich but comfortable, has largely managed to maintain its lifestyle. These are the ones who still believe “the system works for them”. These are the ones who scold others for getting “all worked up” about the state of the nation. They have positions and careers that depend on things remaining the same.

They’re not bad people. They simply have not yet felt the full force of the storm.

Millions of Americans in unexpected places are now beginning to sense it. Just to the west of Massachusetts lies New York. GOP gubernatorial candidate Rep Lee Zeldin (R-NY), although he lost, just had the best showing by a Republican running for governor in 20 years in that overwhelmingly blue state. Zeldin repeatedly emphasized the crime issue and allegations of corruption by Democrat Gov Kathy Hochul that smack of the machine politics epitomized by the ruling political establishment. And this trend will only accelerate in the months to come.

It will provide a monumental opportunity for America First advocates. When a critical mass of the citizenry finally understands all that has been taken away from it, those who have been clamoring for change must be able to articulate a solid and detailed plan to restore a republic that has lost its way.
