What can you tell me about this photo?
Yesterday’s view was the view from the bar of the Owen River Tavern and motels, SH6 near Murchison. Crumpy wrote somewhere that SH6 was his favourite stretch of road, for its varied scenery, starting from Blenheim; Nelson, down the West Coast, Southern Lakes; ending at Invercargill. It’s the longest highway in NZ, not counting SH1 north and south.
