Yesterday’s photo was taken from Auckland international boarding lounge looking towards gate 7. It is of the plane that Air New Zealand has wet leased from Wamos (Spanish) for the Auckland to Perth route over summer. The wet lease means that Wamos supplied the plane, cabin crew and engineering crew and Air New Zealand do catering and ground services. Flew on it business class to Perth, which I have done many times. The service from the Wamos team was amazing and puts Air New Zealand to shame; seating way better as well. Only negative was the food, it was horrible, but not their fault as it that was supplied by Air New Zealand!
