map Russia Ukraine conflict war

It’s ‘Mutiny in the Trenches’ by the pro-Russian separatists of the so-called Donetsk Peoples Republic of Ukraine.

A video of the soldiers and their commander from the 113th Rifle Regiment appeared on Telegram saying they were “Putin’s blood sacrifice”; sent to the front lines of Kherson, cold and hungry with no material support, using World War II rifles. These soldiers are conscripts. The qualifying age was increased from 55 to 65 years of age because many are dodging the draft, according to the Guardian.

The Ukrainians are attempting to retake Kherson where Russian language and currency have been imposed. A pro-Russian blogger Valery Kuleshov with a £15,000 bounty on his head has just been shot in his car, and other notices have gone up warning of the same fate for other pro-Russians.

Ukrainians were successful in counter attacks around Kyiv and Kharkiv and are now crossing the Inhulets River towards Kherson. Bruce Jones, a British Russian commentator told the Mirror that there has to be a cut-off point where Russia cannot take any more losses as units are being depleted. Volodymyr Zelensky also has admitted that the Ukrainian losses in the Donbas region are between 60 and 100 a day.

Mad Vlad has warned Biden that he is adding “Fuel to the Fire” by sending Zelensky HIMERS (High Mobility Rocket Systems). It’s too late for that! Cities like Mariupol have been obliterated and Severodonesk in the Luhansk area of the Donbas is about to suffer the same fate. Already blind aerial bombing in the city by the Russians has hit a nitric acid tank in the city, causing havoc from the release of toxic chemicals.

Where would Putin be without American pop culture? It is back to the Noughties for him as he has named his latest tank “Terminator 2” after the film featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, at the time the most expensive film ever made, very popular and the most requested on rental.

The Terminator has some similarities to Putin. When it is put to the Cyborg, “You can’t go round killing people,” he says, “Why?” “I’m a Terminator.” “I’ll be back.” Hasta la Vista Baby!

After the Ukrainian win in a competition for a World Cup place, the Scots joined in with the Ukrainians in their national anthem after flyers were given out to the crowd. It goes like this: “Shche ne vmerla Ukrainy”. Translation:  “Ukraine has not yet died.”

It’s the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee (the longest reigning queen ever). She and her family suffered three attacks by Hitler (another Putin) on their home at Buckingham Palace during World War II.

A theme song written by a Bud Flanagan from the “Dad’s Army” TV series could apply with a word change to the present war in Ukraine!

Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler (Putin) If you think we’re on the run We are the boys who will stop your little game If you think Old Ukraine is done So watch out Mr Hitler you have met your match in us If you think you can crush us We’ve afraid you’ve missed the bus.
