We Must Protect Our Children

Amidst the controversies that seem to now be a part of everyday life, the revelations of wide-scale child abuse which have surfaced in recent years have been difficult for many to digest.

Scandals implicating the rich and famous in Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex trafficking syndicate have shown the public that what was once considered to be a fringe criminal element is rather well-entrenched within the culture of ‘high society’.

It may be noted, however, that a species or civilisation which fails to safeguard its children is on a sure path to extinction. Indeed, no anomaly is more contrary to the Darwinian principle of survival than for a species to forgo the natural instincts of nurturing and protecting its young.

And while we may gasp at the atrocities being brought to light at the extremities of this phenomenon, the normalisation of child abuse which has nevertheless come to be tolerated in our society is a testament to the devolution of our species.

For instance, we live now in a world where pre-natal infanticide is considered to be a cornerstone of women’s rights and where the sale of aborted fetal tissue has become a multi-million dollar industry. Indeed, New Zealand now boasts abortion laws which are among the most horrific in the world and allow for the termination of an infant until the time of birth.

And arguably even more distasteful is the mainstream sexualisation of children which has emerged as a prominent feature of the demoralisation of Western culture.

As reported recently in the New Zealand Herald, parents at the Tauraroa Area School in Northland have begun pulling their children out of the school after the discovery of obscene course materials brought home by students as young as twelve years old – including by a child who had been opted out of sexuality education classes.

Meanwhile, schools and public libraries throughout the West are now promoting ‘Drag Queen Story-Time’ for children.

It seems that we as a species have come to accept ever-increasing degrees of degeneracy as if it were normal. It has been said, however, that while history seldom repeats, it often rhymes – and we have been here before.

According to KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov, the demoralisation of a culture over several generations is a necessary stage of any Marxist-Leninist revolution. And so we see that after seizing power in Eastern Europe in the early twentieth century, the Bolshevik regime immediately began demoralising those nations within its grip.

Commenting on one such instance, American automobile magnate Henry Ford has written that “nothing had so potent an effect” in the people’s revolt against Bela Kun’s Hungarian regime “as the outraged minds of parents whose children had been compulsorily drawn through sloughs of filth” in the communist-run schools.

And herein lies the hope for mankind.

As the future of the West teeters over the precipice, the plight of our children provides us with the opportunity and incentive to reverse generations of indoctrination. It is this and this alone which will determine whether we as a species can reclaim nature’s instinct to preserve and protect the next generation, or whether we will forever be remembered as the cowards whose pitchforks gathered dust.
