misleading a mockery of kindness short shrift inept ardern not the messiah

This past weekend has been an absolute shocker. This Government clearly has no idea what they are about and the police have even fewer clues. Here are four headlines from Saturday:

One person shot dead at South Auckland church:

Machete-wielding dairy robber chops off worker’s fingers:

Many hospital patients waiting 24 hours-plus for a bed:

Drug dealer offered girlfriend cash to drop assault charges, then orchestrated violent burglary while on bail:

And Sunday wasn’t much better.

‘We’re part of history, you can’t erase us’: Mongrel Mob fight ban on gang insignia at cemetery

Toitu te Waiora CEO Donovan Clarke used work credit card for lobster, booze

$1.59m vaccination campaign happened after almost everyone was vaccinated:

All of those headlines show nothing other than a systemic and catastrophic breakdown of New Zealand’s society after five long years of incompetence and sloth from a government that promised much and delivered almost nothing.

All key indicators that measure society and the economy are worse than when Labour took office.

We now have all the trappings of a sad, angry, little third-world nation, bordering on a banana republic, but without the bananas. We have the endemic violent crime, a corrupted media, a next-to-useless police force more intent on hounding fit and proper persons and ignoring the criminal classes, corrupt officials filling their pockets with taxpayer funds, nepotism and cronyism, graft, bribery and astonishing systemic incompetence in the civil service.

And all that’s on Jacinda Ardern and her next to useless ministries of dolts, imbeciles, cousin shaggers and functional idiots. If they take the bouquets then they also need to take the brickbats.

But they won’t; they arrogantly think if they just spend even more of our money then things will come right.

A classic example of this is the $1.2 billion spent on mental health, on things that not a single person can point to and say that was funded by that budget. They’ve blown billions on things that they can’t or won’t even measure.

Look at KiwiBuild. They grandiosely promised 100,000 new houses in 10 years. We are halfway through that 10 years and they’ve not even built 2000. Even the bog Irish have managed to build more houses than Ardern’s inept and hapless Government!

Housing supply is increasing. Housing for All has a target of 24,600 homes to be delivered in 2022. The government fully expects to meet this target. Indeed, more homes are expected to be built this year than in any year since 2009. The 2023 target is 29,000 homes.

Recent home delivery indicators show that the plan is working:

Government of Ireland

Isn’t it a pity Jacinda Ardern doesn’t believe in targets and quarterly reports, nor has the skills to manage such a simple thing as mandatory management reporting.

She is the ultimate hands-off-the-wheel driver, always looking in the proverbial rear view mirror. And then appears astonished when she ploughs headlong into unintended consequences.

Instead of focusing on fixing things, her Government headed us down the path of racial separatism, state control of almost everything and creating an even more divisive society.

This country deserves better than this. Instead we’ve got fools, imbeciles and virtue-signalling idiots who can only claim to have launched slogans.

Enough is enough.
