NZ mainstream media hasn’t reported on a recent development for vaccine-injured Australians: a class action lodged by 500 of them against the federal Government, Chief Medical Officer Dr Brendan Murphy, and John Skerritt, the public face of the Therapeutic Goods Administration, the country’s drug regulatory body.

How odd. Anyone would think NZ media don’t want us to know about the existence of Covid vaccine injuries or the Australian Government’s compensation programme.

Here’s a screenshot of my search for the week’s Covid news on a popular NZ news site under Australian Government:

Another search of the same site for Covid under latest news (slow news for a New Lynn murder trial to get in there?):

A search on this popular news site for ‘Australian Government’ only turned up old and irrelevant Covid ‘news’, although it was good to be reminded that in 2018 Australians were fined for not vaccinating their children:

OK, still nothing but the certainty that this is the worst NZ news site for recent Covid news.

Let’s try television news, which glues everyone to their screens at six o’clock:

No search engine on the TV3 site, but Covid came up crickets and instead we got this week’s headlines under Australia Pacific news:

Who knew NZ media sites have a gaping great hole where the latest Covid development should be? Are television presenters aware they’re not presenting the pertinent and important news that viewers expect?

Three years of Covid, Covid, Covid, and suddenly the latest Covid news is not relevant? Do we need to bring back Jacinda and Sir Ashley Bloomfield for the very latest updates on Covid?

Let’s try a wider Google search for ‘Australian government Covid injury class action’ in the time frame of ‘last week’:

Success, but still no NZ news sites.

My go-to news site wasn’t ranked in Google’s top five, but they have extensive coverage and are more up to date than any NZ media site visited, particularly regarding Covid:

“The action will argue that the Therapeutic Goods Administration [TGA] did not fulfil their duty to properly regulate the Covid-19 vaccines, resulting in considerable harm and damage to Australians,” Natalie Strijland from NR Barbi Solicitor said in a statement.

The lawsuit claims that the government’s actions in promoting the use of Covid-19 vaccines were “negligent or wrongful” and resulted in personal injury, medical expenses and economic loss for the claimants.

“The claim now proceeds upon the basis that the government, in fact, acted negligently in approving the vaccines and also by failing to withdraw them after approval based upon the known evidence,” Strijland said.

“Australians who have experienced a serious adverse event following Covid-19 vaccination are invited to step forward and register for this class action.”

The Epoch Times Australia

Too bad if you are Australian and you or your child develops a Covid vaccine injury in future outside the short time frame and narrow considerations of the Australian Government’s current compensation programme. I’m not saying anyone will, but the mRNA vaccines are completely new territory and the future is unknown.

How hard was it to report these facts? The NZ public depends on MSM for up to date information, but do they realise how much actual news they don’t get?
