In some of my articles, I have spoken about a streaming platform called LOOR.TV. I thought I would talk about this new platform as most people would not have heard about it. Apart from the Daily Wire, LOOR is another streaming platform that hopes to take on Hollywood and the woke film industry.
LOOR is a streaming platform for Christian filmmakers to make good-quality Christian content. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks the movies made by Pureflix and the Kendrick Brothers are really bad. The movies seem to focus more on preaching to the audience rather than telling a good story that explores Christian themes. This leaves a gap in the market for good quality Christian entertainment which LOOR hopes to fill.
The platform was started by two filmmakers, Jason Farley and Marcus Pittman who both had their projects censored by the major streaming platforms, inspiring them to start LOOR. LOOR’s business model is different from other companies’ as instead of producers or executives deciding how subscription money is spent, the subscribers themselves can use their money to decide what projects get funded. The website offers subscribers LOOT that they can buy which they can then use to spend on projects. As Jason Farley puts it, “It’s like if Netflix and GoFundMe had a baby.”
This business model has proven to be quite attractive to filmmakers, with thirty filmmakers already jumping on board. Some of the projects look quite interesting too. I will go through a few of them

Hollywood sucks, and the Christian film industry offers preachy and feel-good movies with bad storytelling. If you want films uncensored by Hollywood and church ladies maybe consider subscribing to Loor.tv.
