A wave of anti-Semitic terrorism is unleashed in Australia and our worse-than-useless PM is still dithering and doing nothing. At this point, it’s only a matter of time before the vicious ‘pro-Palestine’ thugs are murdering Jews in the streets of Sydney and Melbourne – while the gutless Labor government cowers in terror of the Muslim vote and their own feral, anti-Semitic left faction. They’re not even pretending it’s about Israel anymore: their graffiti openly attacks ‘the Jews’.
To damn him with faint praise, the NSW premier has belatedly realised exactly the crisis that is engulfing his city.
In a joint press conference held hours after the Only About Children childcare centre was set on fire and branded an anti-Semitic slur, [Chris Minns] announced he would enhance the police response to anti-Semitic strikes in Sydney, adding “more detectives, more resources and more people chasing down these violent criminals”.
“It is completely disgusting, and these bastards will be rounded up by NSW Police,” he said.
The centre, located just metres away from a prominent synagogue, was set alight about 1am on Tuesday, with emergency services rushing to the scene to extinguish the flames.
If only he’d been so courageous over a year ago, when a Muslim mob stormed the Sydney Opera House, chanting, ‘Gas the Jews!’ Then was the time to act – but the only action NSW police took on that dreadful night was to arrest a Jewish-Australian for carrying an Israeli flag.
The entire country is paying for Labor’s cowardice.
Mr Minns rejected any suggestion that his government has lost control of the anti-Semitism crisis gripping his state, saying many individuals have been charged in relation to the crimes.
His comments come just days after two vehicles were set on fire a few suburbs away from Maroubra in Dover Heights, and the former home of Executive Council of Australian Jewry co-chief executive Alex Ryvchin was doused in paint.
And it is nearly a year after a Jewish MP’s office was firebombed – an attack the police or government still won’t call what it was: terrorism. After more than a year of mobs bellowing anti-Semitic hate in the streets of Australian cities by the week, the police still do little.
Only About Children chief-executive officer Ms Learmonth said she and her staff were “shocked and horrified” with the attack, adding that their thoughts were with the “Maroubra community”.
Staff were notified overnight of the attack and soon after emailed parents.
The pre-school is not a Jewish school. Ms Learnmonth said the attack struck at the entire community […]
The centre has a “harmony” mural on one of its exterior-facing walls, that spruiks and “celebrates diversity”.
How’s that working out for them, then?
A western Sydney woman was yesterday charged over her alleged involvement in an anti-Semitic attack in Woollahra in January in which three buildings were graffitied and a stolen car was set alight.
‘Western Sydney’? Translation: Muslim. No wonder police won’t release her name: it’d be a dead giveaway.
And our illustrious prime minister?
He’s considering thinking about possibly convening a sub-committee to look into inquiring about maybe issuing a statement. But only after the holidays.
The special envoy to combat anti-Semitism Jillian Segal […] has called for Anthony Albanese to convene national cabinet on the issue.
Anthony Albanese will this afternoon “have a discussion” about whether he will convene a national cabinet to help quash escalating anti-Semitic violence in Australia.
Albanese went on to claim that it would be difficult to convene a national cabinet, because some premiers are on summer holidays.
Could this man be any more pathetic?
