WHERE Is the National Party on the Gun Raids?

Where is the National party on the over the top Police gun raids?

Their Police spokesperson Brett Hudson is celebrating a birthday party with a Labour MP:

Their former Police spokesperson Chris Bishop is busily telling us who he thinks should be in a world cricket XI;

and expressing disappointment that a petition wanting to change the title of fisheries officers to “Paua Rangers” failed:

Their Justice spokesman, Mark Mitchell, doesn’t even seem to know how to post anything to Facebook or Twitter anymore. Perhaps he is more interested in tattooed ladies these days.

Speaking of which, Paula Bennett is more interested in showing us that her bariatric surgery may be failing:

Their leader finally came to the party, three days late and more intent on pushing his gang agenda than sticking up for a victimised family.

You’d think on an issue such as this there is a huge amount of political hay to be made while the sun is shining on Police excesses and their Minister is hiding.

Little wonder that Act’s David Seymour is rocketing up in the polls.

National are simply abrogating their obligations as Her Majesty’s loyal opposition. They don’t deserve the support they currently enjoy. If they can’t get hits on yet another hapless Minister, for politically motivated harassment by Police, then they don’t deserve to win this year.

People should vote for parties that protect freedoms, not restrict them. National are simply missing in action on this and many other fronts.

You’d think that 250,000 voters and their families would be worth something to them, instead, they are gifting many of those to ACT. In a contest of ideas, all we have from National is the sound of crickets.
