Who Suggested That Knighthood?

Best of MountainsideFM.

The Good Oil.

Ashley Bloomfield became a prominent figure during New Zealand’s Covid response, but his handling of the situation was met with mixed reactions. While some praised his calm demeanour, others – like MountainsideFM staff and its supporters – saw his approach as ill-prepared and indicative of a wider failure within the Ardern government.

His recent interview, where he seemed to justify the extreme measures taken, does little to convince critics that he was ever truly in control. The way he and the government handled lockdowns, vaccine mandates and the messaging around Covid-19 continues to be scrutinised, especially as more information emerges about the long-term effects of their policies.

He was such an enthusiast to be seen daily with evil Jacinda Ardern on her pulpit of truth and at no time did that man ever correct her or any statements from the Labour government that were just blatant lies.
