If you still think that the “progressive” left aren’t trying to normalise paedophilia, you just aren’t paying attention.
In the 70s and early 80s, sections of the left were openly promoting paedophilia as just the next logical step in the road to complete sexual liberation. Not just the looney fringe, either: leftist icons like Richard Neville gave sympathetic platforms to pederasts, while Dorothy Hewitt pimped out her underage daughters to the cultural elite. Paedophile organisation NAMBLA were an integral part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras for years.
As a growing backlash in the mid-80s showed that normalising child molesting was (at least for the time being) still beyond the pale, some faded quietly into the shadows of the intelligentsia – but didn’t give up their creepy campaign.
They’re crawling out from under their rocks again – increasingly using the apparently untouchable “trans” movement as their wedge.
And they’ve got friends and enablers in the highest places.
A tweet with an image of trans activist and writer Alok Vaid-Menon alongside a very predatory tweet is trending on Twitter. Instead of deleting the offending tweet they are banning anyone who challenges it.
Another “transgender” activist is the repulsive Jonathan “Jessica” Yaniv – best known as the tranny activist who sued women for refusing to wax his balls. But Yaniv also has a creepy predilection for young girls. Besides pestering underage girls on social media with sleazy, sexual come-ons, Yaniv has also lobbied council swimming pools in Canada to host topless swim parties for 12-year-olds – no parents allowed. Yaniv is still active on Twitter, including posting pictures of very young children in their underwear.
Remember when we were called “bigots” for worrying that “bathroom bills” were just a Trojan horse for creepy men in dresses to slither into girls-only spaces?
“These days the narrative is that transgender people will come into bathrooms and abuse little girls,” Alok posted on Facebook under his alias Darkmatter over 5 years ago.
Alok continues: “I believe in the radical notion that little girls are complicated people. There are no fairy tales and no princess here. Little girls are trans, queer, kinky, devious, kind, mean, beautiful, ugly, tremendous and peculiar.”
“Your kids aren’t as straight and narrow as you think they are. Like everybody else, I’ve been a cute little girl,” Alok added before insinuating that he had intercourse with adults when he was a child […]
Alok’s statement is terrifyingly similar to comments often made by paedophiles who excuse their crimes by projecting their own perversions on the minors they are abusing. A lot of people see the red flags in this comment and have lashed out on Twitter.
Twitter claims that it “has zero tolerance towards any material that features or promotes child sexual exploitation”. This includes “promoting or normalizing sexual attraction to minors as a form of identity or sexual orientation”. So, Twitter has come down on this crepuscular paedophile apologist like a ton of bricks, surely?
Sadly, Twitter are supporting Alok’s comments.
A conservative woman and republican politician, Lauren Witzke, of Delaware USAQ simply retweeted the Alok Vaid-Menon’s quote with the caption “demonic” and she was immediately and permanently suspended from Twitter for hate speech.
When management at Australia’s public broadcaster recently directed reporters not to refer to convicted child abusers as “paedophiles”, for fear of stigmatising paedophiles, even ABC reporters were horrified.
Well, get used to it: it’s just another “new normal”.
A memo reportedly circulating Twitter states that the term “pedophile(s)” is considered hate speech and saying that “Minor-Attracted Person (MAP)” is a gender and a protected class.
“The term ‘pedophile’ should not be used when referring to child abusers because not all minor attracted people abuse kids,” a spokesperson for CNN was reportedly heard saying.

As writer David Robertson predicted, “after SSM, it would be Transgender and then […]this would be followed by polyamory, polygamy, incest and then paedophilia”. The NZ Greens have tried to prevent paedophiles being registered as sex offenders. Australian Greens leader Adam Bandt hailed a program teaching little girls how to send sexy selfies as “good work”.
But, hey, tell me again that the left aren’t trying to normalise child molesting.
