The Green Party’s annual meeting has ended with three senior Pasifka members resigning over the treatment of Darleen Tana.
One item on the agenda was to work out how to get the now-independent MP Tana dumped from Parliament following allegations of migrant exploitation at her husband’s business.
Initial steps were taken at the meeting to invoke party-hopping legislation that could potentially do just that.
Following this, the three members walked out over what they described as appalling and deeply distressing treatment of Tana.
