My work years were so enjoyable and, like so many back then, I worked my butt off over weekends and evenings, not only for the company that I enjoyed working for, but for my own ego and satisfaction.

Many of my weekends were spent on projects that were integral to the continuing employment of manufacturing and marketing staff. This was real pressure, but my team and I certainly enjoyed the successes we achieved. 

Yes, we also had failures, but we put those behind us and took on the next challenge without being bogged down with today’s woke mindset to balance work and lifestyle.
