Can we stop even pretending that AP is an unbiased source of objective reporting?
This is, after all, the outlet that hired Hamas operatives as ‘journalists’, including some who directly participated in the October 7 massacres. AP paid terrorists, in other words.
The Associated Press (AP) is being sued by plaintiffs affected by the October 7 massacre for knowingly supporting terrorism by purchasing photos from Hamas-linked journalists, including Gazans who participated in the October 7 massacre, the National Jewish Advocacy Center (NJAC) has announced […]
The suit alleged that AP bought real-time photographs of the event, including those of hostages, from Hamas-affiliated Gazans […]
AP said on Thursday that while it had the deepest sympathy for the victims of the Hamas attack, the lawsuit was baseless.
“AP had no advance knowledge of the October 7 attacks, nor have we seen any evidence – including in the lawsuit – that the freelance journalists who contributed to our coverage did,” said AP Vice President of Corporate Communications Lauren Easton.
So, how does she think these ‘journalists’ just happened to be right on the spot for the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust? How did ‘journalists’ know what even Mossad didn’t? Even if they didn’t kill or rape anyone – and who wants to take bets on that? – that they did know and said nothing about it is hardly a ringing endorsement.
But the legacy media are so depraved now that they don’t even censure ‘journalists’ who actively participate in terrorism: they reward them.
The Reynolds Journalism Institute recently awarded the oldest photojournalism award in the Photo of the Year (POY) competition to AP photographer Ali Mahmud, who accompanied the terrorists on October 7 and documented them committing atrocities and crimes against humanity, including the abduction of Israeli hostage Shani Louk and the terrorists on the van as they leaned over her body.
Even when they’re caught red-handed, the scumbag legacy media have no shame.
Reuters and AP refused to say they would stop working with those photographers and indeed, in the months since, they continued to use additional photos taken.
It’s small potatoes, compared to paying literal terrorists, but AP also disgrace themselves, again and again, by trampling all over the fundamental law that every journalism student has drummed into them, from day one: never, ever, insert opinions into hard news reporting.
Let’s see if you can spot it:
Chile’s new far-right president launches work on border barrier.
Notice it? Possibly not, because it’s become so ubiquitous in legacy media ‘reporting’ that we’ve just become desensitised to it. That doesn’t make it any less egregious, any more than growing numb from being repeatedly kicked in the head makes it any less assault.
“Far-right”. That’s not a fact: that’s an opinion. Headlining a supposedly hard news piece. It’s a flagrant breach of journalistic ethics.
Notably, the reporter in question uses the “far-right” slur repeatedly. At the same time she calls a communist politician “centre-left”.
What’s got this two-bit propagandist’s knickers in such a twist?
A president who’s enforcing the law.
Less than a week after his inauguration, Chile’s arch-conservative president on Monday began overseeing preparations to build a border barrier – part of his flagship campaign promise to block immigrants from crossing illegally.
If they’re crossing illegally, they’re not “immigrants”, they’re illegal immigrants. This is another lie posing as reporting that she peddles repeatedly.
Chile’s foreign population doubled between 2017 and 2024. Over 300,000 foreigners without proper documentation are believed to be living in the country now, many of them Venezuelans.
“Foreigners without proper documentation”?
She means illegal immigrants.
The legacy media are broken. Stick a fork in their arses and turn them over.
