1. Are young men and women voting differently in NZ?

- 🗳️ Voting Wisdom: The quote "If at age 20 you're not a socialist, you have no heart. If at age 40, you're not a capitalist, you have no brain" suggests a common belief about political shifts with age.
- 📊 Poll Results: A poll by Curia-Taxpayers' Union with 6,000 respondents shows:
- Overall: Centre-Right (CR) leads by 9%
- Under 40s: Centre-Left (CL) leads by 13%
- 40-59: CR leads by 10%
- Over 60: CR leads by 26%
- 👩🦰 Gender Gap in Youth: Huge gender split in under 40s:
- Women: CL leads by 31%
- Men: CR leads by 4%
- 👩🦳 Middle-Aged Gender Gap:
- 40-59 women: CL leads by 10%
- 40-59 men: CR leads by 29%
- 👴 Older Voters: Over 60s show a large gender gap:
- Women: CR leads by 8%
- Men: CR leads by 41%
- 📰 Journalism and Gender: 25% of NZ journalists under 40 are women, while 9% are men over 60.
