If it isn’t Guyon Espiner manufacturing bad-news stories about Winston Peters, then it is Tova O’Brien and her Stuff buddy, the whoopsy Glenn McConnell, doing the same. Even when the story is actually a good-news one.
In this case it is Tova O’Brien attacking Winston Peters for backing his staff and resisting funding cuts to his ministry and then Glenn McConnell following up.
Whether Aitken keeps her job is now in the hands of the politicians she clearly has strong feelings about. That is the irony she may soon have plenty of time to reflect on.
