Honestly, do Newshub and the government think we are all stupid and can’t see their hand in glove co-operation in trying to dig the government out of a hole of their own making?
For the third day in a row Newshub announces a perilous poll result followed by a government announcement that they are fixing the issue.
Newshub can reveal the Government is working on creating a special mental health fund that could see innovative programmes like Mike King’s Gumboot Friday funded.
It comes as the public delivers a strong message in the latest Newshub-Reid Research poll – the Government is not doing enough to address our mental health crisis.

Amazing. They cop weeks of flak over mental health, ignore Mike King and, even worse, defame him. Then Newshub runs a poll that slams these muppets and all of a sudden they have a solution.
In the latest Newshub-Reid Research poll, voters were asked: Is the Government doing enough to address the mental health crisis?
An overwhelming majority, 70.7 percent, said no, while just 18.2 percent said yes.
Once is a coincidence. Twice is a pattern. Three times is deliberate.
First, it was a reversal on immigration, then the reverse ferret on the deeply unpopular bike bridge and now we have the third amazing coincidence of funding suddenly becoming available that might assist Mike King in mental health. All bad polls from Reid Research, and all with amazingly accurate potential solutions to the problem areas.
We’ve always suspected that Newshub was a lock for Labour and now we have proof.
Newshub is the clear leader in the Team of $55 Million. They are the official propaganda wing of the Labour party now.
Don’t trust them, they’re compromised. I wonder when Tova O’Brien will start her segments with red pompoms.
