“Reset the clock” became a saying in certain online circles in recent years, in the wake of the Trump election and the “MeToo” movement. It refers to the phenomenon of prominent anti-Trump leftists, male feminists and LQWBTQI activists and “allies” being repeatedly exposed as abusers, harassers, rapists, murderers and molesters.
Well, it’s time to reset the clock again.
Peter Bright, a progressive feminist and prominent tech journalist, has been arrested on charges that he was allegedly soliciting sex with a minor.
Bright, who wrote for Ars Technica and appeared in videos for the company, was charged after he allegedly arranged to molest a 7-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy. He was instead arrested by an undercover FBI agent who he contacted through an online fetish social media platform…
Bright, who is 38 years old, tweeted under the account “@DrPizza,” where he self-identified as polyamorous, pansexual, and “pervy” in his profile.
“Progressive feminist” journalist? Imagine my shock to discover that he is rabidly anti-Trump.
He often used the account to tweet vile insults at President Donald Trump, including one accusing the president of having incestuous feelings for his daughter.
“It’s unacceptable to call trump a motherfker,” Bright tweeted in January, “as we all know, it’s one of his daughters he wants to fk, not his mother.”
In another online missive, he disparaged Trump supporters, saying, “f**k caitlyn jenner and every other trump-voting scumbag.”

For all their self-proclaimed moral superiority, yet again a leftist is exposed as something less than a moral exemplar. The details of the case are sickening reading. If the following samples don’t turn you off, the Daily Dot has a lot more.
Bright, using the handle “randomanon,” had responded to a message the agent posted a day prior in which she purported to be a mother seeking to connect with people who could teach her children about “birds and the bees.”
The complaint states that in subsequent messages, the agent informed Bright that she had a 7-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son.
At Bright’s urging, the two then began chatting via WhatsApp, which continued for a few weeks. At times using euphemisms, Bright reportedly wrote of molesting both children and raping the 7-year-old. He also allegedly sent pictures of his penis, and photos of test results showing he did not have any sexually transmitted diseases.
According to the complaint, both consistently referred to his plans to molest the children as “teaching” them “lessons,” and Bright described how he would begin slowly and move on to more intense sexual activity.
But this lefty molesty didn’t just talk the talk. Oh no. If his sick bragging is to believed, he’s a rockspider who’s walked the walk.
Per the complaint, Bright further claims to have molested an 11-year-old girl.
“I have a girl I’ve been teaching off and on for a couple of months now,” Bright reportedly wrote. “But she’s in the Bronx, which makes the logistics much harder.”
