Auckland Mayoral Candidate Craig Lord deplatformed by NZME

Table of Contents

Auckland Mayoral candidate Craig Lord has had his radio ad pulled by NZME. I was gobsmacked when Auckland Mayor Phil Goff deplatformed Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux but who is behind the deplatforming of Craig Lord?

I cannot think of any good reason why a radio station would at the last minute pull an ad for a Mayoral candidate, can you? Free Speech doesn’t appear to be so free in Auckland. I wonder what the ad said that had NZME legal team scrambling at the last minute to pull it. Did they receive a threatening legal letter from someone? Did they only at the last minute realise that the content was defamatory?

Very strange.
