Awakened People Say Thank You

Table of Contents

This week the Tauranga Sump met for the final daytime get-together for 2023.

At the height of Jacinda Ardern’s reign, John Key called New Zealand a hermit kingdom. Not satisfied with a reclusive isolated country, the Prime Minister worked her powers and incredibly went much further. Kiwis were ordered to live like eremites – persons who live in seclusion from society. Unyielding COVID-19 lockdowns banned us from even talking to a neighbour. We were forced to hide from view inside our houses.

The popular BFD had other ideas. Awakened people knew this was ridiculous at best and inhumane at worst. Thankfully some intuitively knew this was wrong and didn’t fall prey to fear or groupthink trends or as helpfully described in Mattias Desmet’s book, The Psychology of Totalitarianism – mass formation. As one BFD person said, we had a peep behind the scenes to see what ‘they’ plan for us. It exposed how rapidly a leader can become a dictator, lose their moral compass and then their right to govern.

Small numbers of awakened New Zealanders began to form new friendships. Groups started to contact like-minded others, online at first. It was baffling how compliant most Kiwis were, going along with this madness by backing Ardern’s cruel treatment of her citizens, where in fact, it should have been the complete opposite. We ought to have kept an eye out for others.

The BFD helped enormously, alongside Voices for Freedom, New Zealand Doctors Speaking with Science (NZDSOS), and later Reality Check Radio (RCR), and others, bringing people back together to reclaim freedom over tyranny!

On Wednesday we found ourselves recalling how our sump members first met and how much it means.

Awakened Sumpers take this opportunity to say thank you to the BFD, for holding the line, being free from any governmental influence, bribes or censorship. We admire your 24/7 workload, as staff churn out up-to-date information, articles, opinion polls, and cartoons.

It’s almost as though we could breathe again.

As sump organisers, we were totally blown away after receiving unexpected thank you gifts and a card.  One helped with design, and another put their skills to work and made a wooden lantern complete with glass, a candle and built-in fairy lights plus a bouquet of gorgeous flowers out of their pretty garden in a cute wooden pot -see below. Talent extraordinaire! Beautifully made. Treasured.

The sump friendships mean such a lot to us too, as organisers. It’s been a pleasure to get to know other awakened people. We are grateful homes have been offered, cafes and restaurants visited, enjoyed many morning teas and dinners together. We can talk politics, elections and coalition agreements, as well as all things Covid.

It’s been a place where we have found true companionship and the right to speak freely and fearlessly. We love our country. We live in the real world. All can unload about mandates and get extremely angry about how Ardern’s Government has badly damaged New Zealand in so many ways.

We can discuss our experiences, educate ourselves with interesting speakers, laugh, chill, eat, drink, pray, and encourage. Our group backs two support groups formed for vaccine-impacted people.

We echo one of our younger sumpers who was a teenager when she first came along, (now 20), who wrote in the thank you card, “Thank you for introducing me to these lovely people.”
