Few more deserving than some of the so-called ‘Squad’ of far-left Democrats, especially anti-Semitic Muslim immigrant and reputed brother-marrier Ilhan Omar.
A new controversy has erupted over Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after a video surfaced showing her giving legal advice to Somali immigrants.
‘Legal advice’… such as how to continue to remain illegally in the United States. She’s telling people how to commit a crime.
According to sources like The Gateway Pundit, Omar told undocumented individuals not to answer questions from ICE agents. Critics argue that this amounts to helping illegal immigrants dodge deportation, while her defenders say she was merely informing people of their constitutional rights.
Many conservatives have slammed Omar’s comments, arguing that an elected representative should not be giving advice that could undermine immigration enforcement.
Several users on X (formerly Twitter) have called for Omar to be expelled from Congress, with some even suggesting she should be deported herself – despite the fact that she is a US citizen.
A naturalised citizen, who can be stripped of her US citizenship and deported if she is convicted of a serious crime.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has previously pushed for Omar’s removal from office over past comments, and this latest incident has only fueled similar demands.
“We have a member of Congress actively working against our immigration laws,” DeSantis reportedly said in a recent interview. “That should be unacceptable to everyone.”
She’s not the only Democrat telling illegals to dodge the law.
This comes as immigration authorities are cracking down on illegal immigration across the country. Minneapolis’ mayor Jacob Frey told illegal immigrants in his community: “I want to speak directly to people who are undocumented: we love you. We care about you. In the city of Minneapolis, we will stand up for you and we will do anything in our power to help because you’re not an alien; in our city, you’re a neighbor.” Minneapolis is part of Omar’s district.
No, they’re illegal immigrants. Hey, Democrats, remember ‘no one is above the law?’
“Now, in Minneapolis, we have what is called a separation ordinance,” Frey added, saying that the city will not gather information on who is an illegal immigrant in the city. “And that separation ordinance states clearly that our city officials, our police officers and beyond, will not be gathering information showing who is and who is not documented.”
“Our police officers will not be cooperating with federal law enforcement around federal immigration law. We enforce state and local laws here in Minneapolis, and we will do so to the best of our ability. But as for cooperation with ICE, the answer is no,” Frey added.
So, he’s not only encouraging and abetting illegal immigrants in breaking the law, he’s directing his own employees to obstruct federal law enforcement?
Whoever knowingly and willfully obstructs, resists, or opposes an extradition agent of the United States in the execution of his duties, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both – Title 18 of the US Code.
There’s going to be raids a-plenty on Democrat politicians by the sounds of it.
Leftist New Jersey Democrat Governor Phil Murphy brazenly boasted that he and his wife were housing an [illegal immigrant], then taunted the Trump administration by challenging them to “try to get her.”
