All the charges against Brian Tamaki, over breaching the Covid-19 Public Health Act by holding various protests at the Auckland Domain, have been thrown out or dismissed.
Brian Tamaki was facing multiple charges of breaching the Covid-19 Public Health Act after attending three separate demonstrations in Auckland against vaccine mandates and lockdowns. He was also charged with organising one.
His wife Hannah Tamaki and Destiny Church member and emcee Kaleb Cave also faced charges over their attendance at anti-mandate protests. Destiny Church’s operations manager Jennifer Marshall is charged with organising and attending the October 2 and 16 gatherings.
The four had pleaded not guilty and were facing a judge-alone trial in front of Judge June Jelas.
