Jack Coe, believed to be New Zealand’s oldest man, celebrated his 107th birthday last Thursday, May 11th and then died days later.
On May 11, 1916, Coe was born in a tent on Gorton St in Bulls, a small town in the Rangitikei District of Manawatu-Whanganui.
His secret to a long life? “Caramel popcorn and a beer.”
