Report: Trump to Oust Transgenders From US Military
President-elect Donald Trump “is planning an executive order that would lead to the removal of all transgender members of the US military, defense sources say,” UK newspaper the Times reports.
Mustered Out? “The order could come on his first day back in the White House, January 20. There are believed to be about 15,000 active service personnel who are transgender. They would be medically discharged, which would determine that they were unfit to serve,” the paper writes. “The ban is expected to be wider ranging than a similar order made during his first term in office, when Trump prevented transgender people joining the armed forces, but allowed those already serving to keep their jobs. President Joe Biden rescinded the order, but this time even those with decades of service will be removed from their posts, according to several sources.” Related: The tyranny of the few drives wokeness in the military…
Rand Paul Warns Denver Mayor on Trump Deportations
The message is simple: You better not get in the way. Sen Rand Paul (R-KY) on Sunday offered a very blunt retort to Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, who has vowed to utilize local police officers and civilians to prevent federal officials from executing President-elect Donald Trump’s planned mass deportations of illegal aliens.
‘Removed From Office’: “Now, I would say that the mayor of Denver, if he’s going to resist federal law, which there’s a long-standing history of the supremacy of federal law, he’s going to resist that. It will go all the way to the Supreme Court. And I would suspect that he would be removed from office,” Paul told CBS News in an interview. “So I think the mayor of Denver is on the wrong side of history and really, I think will face legal ramifications if he doesn’t obey the federal law.” Related: Woke Denver trips over red carpet rolled out to migrants…
Marjorie Taylor Greene Has Eye on Defunding NPR
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) knows a great place for DOGE to begin cutting the fat from the federal government. Greene has been appointed to chair a new House subcommittee that will partner with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s Department of Government Efficiency after President-elect Donald Trump takes office on Jan 20.
‘Sex Apps in Malaysia’: “We’ll be looking at everything from government-funded media programs like NPR that spread nothing but Democrat propaganda,” Greene told Fox News Sunday of her new assignment. “We’ll be going into grant programs that fund things like sex apps in Malaysia, toilets in Africa. All kinds of programs that don’t help the American people. I want to talk to the people at the Pentagon and ask them why they can’t find billions of dollars every single year and why they fail their audit.” Related: NPR and the real threat to democracy…
GOP Sen Schmitt: Fire All Partisan DOJ Investigators
A Republican senator is calling on President-elect Donald Trump to sweep away all Justice Department personnel who engaged in politically motivated prosecutorial actions. “I think accountability means, first and foremost, the people involved in this should be fired immediately,” Sen Eric Schmitt (R-MO) told NBC News Sunday.
‘Weaponized That Department’: “Everybody’s seen this weaponization of the Justice Department over the last four years,” Schmitt asserted. “It really is a tragedy for a once respected agency that has gone after Catholics, it’s gone after parents who showed up to school board meetings under the auspices of the Patriot Act. This is in the United States of America. And [they] clearly weaponized that department, [President] Joe Biden did and [Attorney-General] Merrick Garland, to go after their chief political opponent.” Related: America weeps at political lawfare…
Australia Social Media Misinformation Fines Push Fails
It’s a victory for free-speech advocates Down Under. The ruling Australian Labor Party government “has ditched plans to fine social media companies if they fail to stem the spread of misinformation, the country’s communications minister said Sunday,” Agence France-Presse reports.
‘No Pathway’: “The proposed legislation outlined sweeping powers to fine tech companies up to five per cent of their yearly turnover if they breached new online safety obligations,” the news service details. “Communications Minister Michelle Rowland said she had dumped the bill after running into significant opposition in the country’s Senate. “Based on public statements and engagements with senators, it is clear that there is no pathway to legislate this proposal through the Senate,” she said in a statement. The bill notably drew the ire of tech baron Elon Musk, who in September likened the Australian government to ‘fascists.’” Related: Top doctor details vaccine injury, shakes Australian Covid regime…
