Covid vaccine data whistleblower Barry Young says he can’t wait for his trial. On Monday he pleaded not guilty in the Wellington District Court to a charge of accessing a computer system for dishonest purposes.
A former database administrator for Health New Zealand’s (Te Whatu Ora) pay-per-dose COVID vaccination system, he allegedly leaked anonymised data on more than four million vaccination records dating from 2021 to 2023. He faces a prison sentence of up to seven years.
Mr Young elected trial by jury and will next appear in court on February 23. Outside the court, he thanked his large group of supporters, who blew whistles and held signs in support of him.
He said he felt like it was near the beginning of the end of the nightmare he had been through for the past two years. “I can’t wait for the trial, honestly. Bring it on.”
On Sunday Mr Young spoke at a picnic at Parliament Ground, calling on members of Parliament and the Ministry of Health to immediately cancel the COVID vaccination programme.
He told the crowd of about one hundred people he has identified clusters of excess deaths he believes are linked to the vaccines.
He read from his job resignation letter, which was addressed to the senior leadership team at the Ministry of Health and all New Zealand MPs:
In one typical scenario, one person has jabbed ten people in a row, all within minutes of each other, one after the other, and now all those people are dead. To have this happen purely by chance, one person would have to be vaccinating for 38 years 24/7 non-stop. This vaccine is almost certainly causing excess deaths. I urge you to help cancel the COVID-19 vaccination programme immediately and launch a public inquiry.
The leaked data, he said, are “the people’s data. It belongs to them.”
British MP Andrew Bridgen, speaking via the internet, applauded Barry Young for releasing government data on COVID-19 vaccinations. All governments hold this type of data, he said.
“If the vaccines are safe and effective, then release the data for every country and let’s demonstrate it. The fact is that they do not release that data because the data would be damning. There must be many more people in many different countries who are privy to the information that Barry was privy to … and I’d encourage them to come forward as well and do what is the right thing.”
Mr Bridgen said the vaccine rollouts are the biggest crime against humanity in history. 75–80% of people in the UK know something is seriously wrong with the vaccines, and the take-up of the latest round of boosters is extremely low, he said.
Vaccine critic Steve Kirsch, also speaking via the internet on Sunday, told the crowd Mr Young is a hero because he is sacrificing his liberty:
Words cannot express my gratitude for [him] doing this.
This is going to go down in history as an historic event, and some people may not realise it now, but let me assure you this data proves that the vaccines have been killing people—no doubt about it.
[It’s] the first time in history we’ve had this information. It shows that the health authorities are corrupt in New Zealand It shows that the health authorities are corrupt all over the world because they’re not taking a look at this data.
Mr Kirsch said he has written to Health New Zealand asking them to show how his analysis of Mr Young’s details is wrong but he has received no reply.
They’re not looking at their data … They never even talked to Barry… They don’t want to see that they’re wrong.
