Travel plans and bookings for so-called Diversity training has been cancelled thanks to Judith Collins kicking up a stink in parliament about kids apologizing for their white privilege.
Thank you, Judith. Keep at it!
This ideology needs to stop. We need more complaints about it. Complaining DOES work.
This training was costing MOE about $900 per person for a two day course, PLUS flights to Wellington for all regional staff PLUS two nights accommodation per staff member while there (average cost $150-170 per night) PLUS meals PLUS taxis to and from airport.
My best estimate is a total cost between $1500-1700 per staff member trained. There are over 3000 staff at the ministry, so do the maths.
