The Opportunity Party is like a new Whittaker’s chocolate bar on display near the check-out – for a week or so everyone will be putting it in their trolley. But pretty soon, when they realise how uninspiring the ingredients are, it will be in the bargain bin along with the expired crunchy bars.

NZ First Continues to Rise
Newsroom says polling data hint at a record election performance from NZ First. They reflected back to 1996 when the party registered as high as 29 per cent before settling back at 15 per cent. I would not be surprised if NZ First hit that target this time or surpassed it.
