Responding to January 6 committee chair Bennie Thompson (D-MS), former President Donald Trump set out his position regarding Wednesday’s committee vote to subpoena him. In his usual manner, rather than issue a direct acceptance or refusal, the 45th president took the opportunity to air a number of grievances regarding the 2020 election, the January 6 committee itself and the current Congress.
