The special kids in the government have come up with yet another unattainable slogan that says much but will deliver…uhmm…zero.
Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency and police launched a campaign on Wednesday to kick-start the Government’s Road to Zero safety strategy, and give people a better understanding of what it is trying to achieve.
The Road to Zero strategy, which was proposed in 2019 and adopted in 2020, is a 10-year plan to reduce road deaths by 40 per cent by 2030. By 2050, the plan suggests nobody would be killed on the road.

Seriously? Are these people retarded? Actually, even a retard knows that a zero road toll by 2050 is not only nonsensical but also impossible to attain. They seem to have the IQ of a lettuce, and that’s probably generous.
In 2022, the agency is planning a vast programme of road maintenance and safety improvements, a review of speed limits and the confirmation of new speed limit rules around schools, and the development of a new model for the operation of speed cameras.
Improved vehicle safety standards will be introduced, a Ministerial Oversight Group has been formed to oversee the Road to Zero plan, and a major review of fines and penalties will take place.

Ahhh, so now we get to the nub of it all. They are going to slow the whole country down and massively fine us if we so much as creep slightly over their new reduced speed limits.
These dolts are dangerous fools wrecking the already perilous economy with inane controls over our everyday life.
Short of making us all drive at 5mph, or walk everywhere there is no way on God’s green earth that they will lower the road toll at all.
Mind you these are the same fools who thought they could defeat a virus by shutting everything down. These measures will be just as successful.
Perhaps we might just start calling Michael Wood, Minister Zero. Let’s look at his track record. Promised to stop penis lollies during the Botany by-election. He failed at that. He promised a bike bridge for nearly a billion dollars and that failed to materialise. He promised the train between Hamilton to Papakura would be a roaring success and he failed at that too. The only thing he can deliver is “rivers of filth” from his own mouth.
This is a zero government, no houses, no trees, no kids lifted out of poverty, not a single thing they promised has even come close to being delivered. The year of delivery delivered only slogans, and the year of the vaccine was a dollar short a day late. The rollout of RAT tests is an unmitigated disaster.
So they really are the zero government.
