Big drama in my second daughter’s flat, maybe one of them has symptoms, seems very possible it could be …. and OMG if it IS Omicron they have SO many close contacts… they’ve bundled themselves all into a car and driven down to a testing station to join the queue and check themselves out.

Thank goodness she and all her office are already sorted to work from home. That dangerous and deadly Omicron for a teeny tiny percentage of the population especially those with co-morbidities will be much better controlled now. “Look after your whanau, your loved ones”. “Stay safe”. “Be kind”. “It’s coming to get you”.

She and her friends have their plans. They’re all set up, extra food in the pantry, ordering merch on-line, their flat is their base. OMG, hope that friendly neighbourhood cat we’ve been stroking isn’t a super spreader… Lordie, glad we don’t have shifts at that local sit-down café, super quiet down there. But the drive-throughs are super busy.

OMG we’ve never had Omicron before. Fresher flu is so last year. This is BIG, this is exciting, Cindy says so, the other experts say so too…. There COULD be thousands about to die. There COULD be all young ones and old ones dead very soon, gosh is that a carbon neutral thing? Like, how are we going to SURVIVE?

This is such a drama, such a thing. We’re so affected, so excited. It’s so risky. Don’t stop the ads, Cindy, don’t stop being worried, kind and smiley sincere. Ashley, keep styling your hair. Nah, don’t feed us the boring shit; nah, we don’t wanna know it’s nearly all vaccinateds in hospital. Nah, don’t wanna know about graphene oxide and other nano particles.
