Sidney Powell Releases the Kraken, Twitter Ungloves the Iron Fist

As I reported recently, several surveys have indicated that the shockingly biased mainstream media may well have swung the US presidential election from an unequivocal Trump landslide to the mire of dispute it has become. But the lyin’ media weren’t alone in their efforts to influence the outcome. Silicon Valley was ridin’ with Biden all the way.

None more so than Twitter.

Twitter repeatedly censored the Trump campaign and its associates – 262 times, in fact – while it gave the Biden campaign an absolutely free run.

In fact, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey apparently lied directly to the Senate when he claimed that Twitter wasn’t censoring the New York Post bombshell stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop. As Sen. Ted Cruz later showed, Twitter was in fact still blocking the story.

Now they’re apparently at it again, trying to block users from accessing lawyer Sydney Powell’s website and its links to affidavits contesting election results.

A website belonging to former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, who recently filed lawsuits on behalf of President Donald Trump alleging election fraud, appear to have been blocked by Twitter.

When one tries to share the link, defendingtherepublic.org, or includes it in a direct message, the social media website says: “Something went wrong, but don’t fret—let’s give it another shot.”

Another message toward the bottom of the screen adds: “We can’t complete this request because this link has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially harmful. Visit our Help Center to learn more.” The message doesn’t elaborate on why the website is “potentially harmful” and doesn’t identify who “our partners” might be.

Some users later posted that including the text, “defendingtherepublic dot org,” is a way to circumvent Twitter’s censors.

If it can’t directly block access to the site, Twitter is trying to scare users away with fake security warnings.

When one clicks on a link to Powell’s website that successfully went through on Twitter, the website includes a “warning: this link may be unsafe” message. “The link you are trying to access has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially spammy or unsafe,” it reads.

This is nonsense.

The links are to mere PDF documents, the standard platform for document sharing on the web. Not even my pretty strict anti-virus and malware programs flag it.

It just so happens that the linked documents are the affidavits that Powell has filed challenging the electoral results in Michigan and Georgia. Affidavits that are full of that evidence the media are hysterically insisting doesn’t exist.

The website includes links to read her recent court filings as well as the ability to donate to her fund.

As the tech titans have repeatedly done, if they can’t suppress the truth, they’ll try to financially starve the truth-tellers.

If that fails, they’ll just go for good, old-fashioned censorship with all the ruthlessness of a Beijing Party official.

Twitter also suspended the account of Pennsylvania Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-York), who called an election oversight hearing that presented allegations and evidence of voter fraud this week[…]Powell’s account was suspended for 12 hours.
