The exercise of raw power without regard to fact or justice is not limited to New Zealand: it is threatening to overtake the world.
The suggestion to lower the temperature on race issues is seen as naive. Publications like the NZ Herald’s report on Key’s comments may embolden activists, making it unlikely that tensions will decrease.
Labour not being able to govern without the other two is what makes their position so perilous.
This is an outrageous and gross constitutional overreach by police. This cannot be over-emphasised. Police do not make the laws. They must stop all activity in this space immediately and delete all the data that they have illegally collected.
The issue isn’t the content of the Bill but the fact that it’s even considered controversial. This should be a concern for the National Party.
Labour and the teachers’ unions are angry and upset because they don’t like the Government’s numbers on the number of kids failing at mathematics, preferring their numbers which still show 58% of year-eight kids are failing.
And nearly 70 per cent of Australian companies “not even trying”.
TVNZ is more interested in producing derogatory and inaccurate information about people it politically disagrees with than in providing accurate and informative articles.
We all need to put on our brave pants and stick up for women. Women too need to do it. And Chris Luxon needs to find a pair.
