It seems Spark and Vodafone (One NZ) haven’t seen the Go Woke, Go Broke memo. Misogynist Shaneel Lal, who incited violence at Albert Park against people who turned up to hear Posie Parker speak, took to Facebook’s new app Threads to call to keep “TERFs” off the platform. Spark and Vodafone came to the party.

Spark responded to Family First’s Bob McCoskrie, who asked for clarity:

And then One NZ (Vodafone) joined in.

Considering trans people are less than one per cent of the population and women 51 per cent, this doesn’t seem a wise business move.

And it seems that Lal has also turned on the LGB community, under whose banner trans people have stood.
