Hi all.
I’ve been a centre-left voter for years now. I was brought up in a labour household and have always lived by these 3 values my parents instilled in me.
1. Hard work brings rewards
2. Equal rights for ALL HUMANS, regardless of skin colour or ethnicity
3. Freedom of expression.
This is hard for me. I’ve always voted Labour.
NEVER AGAIN!!
I have never seen a labour government that purportedly supports blue-collar workers like myself, completely ignore and marginalize our status as to be blunt “devoted drudges” that don’t have the wherewithal or intelligence to determine and shape their own future.
I have NEVER SEEN a labour government so far removed from reality and from its support base.
I, however, have witnessed a Labour government that couldn’t give a [Mod redacted] about the concerns and frustrations of people from my working ilk.
I wouldn’t have given the BFD the time of day 5 years ago. How bloody stupid was I ??
