The people at Stuff stuffed-up a story about a stuff-up on the Tauranga “SH2: Bayfair to Baypark Link”. They seem to think that we build motorway overpasses out of stone. Here’s a clue Stuff, we never built motorways out of stone, ever.
The Romans built highways out of stone, but not motorways I’m afraid. Of course no well-researched article conducted by trained and skilled journalists would be complete without a photo to show unfamiliar readers the site in question.
I’m not sure exactly where the photo they used is of, but it bears absolutely no resemblance to the road in question, it isn’t even in the same city, or even in any city at all.
