The Liar:Rub-a-dub-dub, three men in a tub,
And who do you think were there?
The butcher, the baker, the candle-stick maker,
All gone home in despair.
Their businesses gone,
Then wondering, forlorn,
They asked what the hell they did wrong?
Along comes a liar, pants bursting on fire,
Spitting falsehoods from out of the blue,
I've always said, you can get out of bed,
And go to work; if you want to.
If you do it online, it's perfectly fine,
I don't understand your confusion.
Lying bare-faced, what an utter disgrace,
In her world; truth's but an illusion.
“Tell big lies, biggies, big fat fibs, the bigger – the better, they’re easier to get away with”
Ex-Chancellor of Germany, circa 1933.
